USES: A fantastic compact culinary addition to any patio or garden, creates a stylish pot plant for the courtyard, high rise balcony or patio. Nutritionally limes are a very good source of vitamin C, dietary fibre, and calcium, iron, copper, and are low in sodium. Due to the high vitamin C levels and antibiotic properties they are a natural way to assist the prevention of gum disease and to ease bacterial infections and colds. Limes are extremely versatile; they are highly valued in cooking for both their juice and zest. They are fantastic for drinks, seafood dishes, chicken, meats, deserts, cakes, biscuits and marmalade. Juice of limes may be frozen for later use for a period of up to 3 months.
CHARACTERISTICS: Non grafted variety that fruits from a young age.
FOLIAGE: Leaves are a lot smaller the traditional Lime.
HABIT: Compact growth habit when in a pot, produces full size juicy fruit.

HARDINESS: Frost tolerant, humidity tolerant, handles wet and dry conditions. Has a very versatile climatic range grows successfully from Melbourne up to Darwin over to Perth.
CULTURE: In a large pot use a high quality potting mix.
POSITION: Prefers full sun to part shade (well lit patio).
CARE: An applicationof Citrusfertiliser early autumn and spring is beneficial.
WATER: Very low water requirement once established in ground. If in a pot keep moist and water when required.
